Tiquizia

Hello, broadcasting from Cynthia's room:



Came back from a wonderful evening at the mountain top restaurant, Tiquizia, that overlooks all of the small cities surrounding San Jose.



We arrived after braving the moutain roads, very VERY steep and treacherous to be rewarded with warm smiles and the most breathtaking view we have ever seen.



We were immediately seated outside near the dance floor where a troup of professional local dancers, spinned and laughed their local costumes! They were incredible!



We all had incredible local dishes from cheese stuffed yuca balls to gallo pinto and a drink called "agua dulce" (sugar water).



We then drove down the mountain and through the small town and saw incredible murals and local people out on their front steps talking and laughing..



what a beautiful country indeed.



We are off to bed...Zzzz
