Christina vs. The Volcano!

So, last night we finished the run thru of the opera with Act 3, a few bumps, but went very well.

Tonight is the full run-thru. I am feeling a little sicky (allergies), so I may not sing full out, just feel comfortable with all the blocking. Will report on that later..

GREAT NEWS! We have been given this weekend off to explore, so Me, Cynthia and Jim are going to be heading north to La Fortuna tomorrow, where there is an active volcano called Arenal. We found a great bed and breakfast, rated 5 stars on every trip advisor site, for only $36/night. We can go horseback-riding up to see the volcano, go to the hotsprings, go to the downtown-chessy tourist place, ...really looking forward to it all. They have a butterfly conservatory that I really want to see. Butterflies are huge here, due to the tropics and the rainforests...very important symbol for my family as well...so I hope we can squeeze that in.

After being here for 2 weeks, I would highly advise booking a complete trip, as there are so many areas that are hard to navigate through.
